A Simply Organized Life is the brainchild of Alison who has over 15 years of experience as a Professional Organizer and relocation specialist. Her background in financial planning has helped her immensely in sorting through clients’ paper piles that need to be organized or shred.
It was in 2004 that she decided to become a Professional Organizer full time. This was after a car accident that left her bedridden for six months.
She has since sat as an officer of the National Remodelers Industry (NARI) and has written and published Remodel Charlotte Magazine and done freelance writing for Urban Living and Rhinoceros Times.

Our owner, Alison Browning has been helping folks organize things inside homes since 1995. Growing up in a military family, she was used to packing and unpacking things for moving. It became her training ground for a future in a professional organization. She is also a relocation specialist with a strong background in financial planning.
